With the 59th Grammy Awards creeping up on us tomorrow, we know that our favorite thing to do is anxiously wait to see who wears what at the red carpet (and why), it only makes sense to take a look back at the good, bad, weird, really weird fashion that our favorite stars wore last year.
Here’s a quick look back at some of our favorite and not so favorite fashion from the 58th Grammy Awards at LA Staple Center on Feb 15, 2016:
Best of the Best
Taylor Swift. She wowed everyone when she stepped onto the red carpet with this bright ensemble last year – a hot pink crop top paired with a full length skirt. Our favorite part of this outfit? Easily the sexy thigh-high slit. Let’s not forget she also went home with 3 Grammy awards (Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album & Best Music Video)
Chrissy Teigen. Pregnant at the time with her daughter (Luna), Chrissy looked absolutely stunning in this Yousef -Al-Jasmi white gown with the perfect bejeweled cape. Chrissy completed her elegant look with diamond jewelry and nude nails.
Ariana Grande. One can never go wrong with a beautiful red, elegant gown with the signature Ariana ponytail.
Tori Kelly. Obsessed with this dress and Tory Kelly in it. She resembles a goddess in this number and is definitely one of our favorites.
Alessandra Ambrosio. Sexy, hot, daring (we’re talking about the dress). Alessandra kills this look with her dark but subtle makeup and hair.
Worst of the Worst
Janelle Monae. An oversized prisoner look doesn’t work all the time (or ever).
Andra Day. Now I know where my grandma’s favorite green quilt from the 70’s went! Don’t understand this look nor do I want to.
Joy Villa. Writing this with eyes closed because this is just scary.
Skylar Grey. Make some room because it’s not just her, there’s 2 more people on her dress! Wonder if they needed their own invitation to the Grammys.
Adele. This probably isn’t the worst of the bunch but disappointing because Adele is downing in it. Next time, something more flattering please!
